Born on the Canadian prairies, Audrey Smith has lived and worked in many Canadian cities, including Edmonton, Calgary, and Toronto.

Audrey is an art educator as well as an illustrator. She has illustrated both children’s and adult books and continues to teach and work as a ceramic sculptor. She finds illustrating a fascinating opportunity to communicate artistically on many different levels. She says the chance to constantly learn makes life exciting.

Audrey loves to garden, cook for a happy community of friends, and build her understanding of permaculture through community garden projects.

She continues to enjoy her relationships with her two amazing sons.
